Itella to continue its mail delivery policy for persons over 75 years of age
Itella's press release states that it will not change its current mail delivery policy concerning persons over 75 years of age. The disabled and persons over 75 years of age will continue to have the right, if they so request, to have their mail delivered either to a letterbox placed at the boundary of their plot of land where they there is a driveway or other access to the plot or in an apartment-specific mail drop. In order to receive the service, all mail recipients in the household must fulfil the criteria set for this special service that is free of charge.
In FICORA's view, it is positive that persons over 75 years of age retain their right to special services.
