National Information Security Strategy introduced

The implementation of the National Information Security Strategy will be supported by nine spearhead projects, two of which will be led by FICORA: the further enhancement of the Safer Internet Day project and the establishment of the National Communications Security Authority, NCSA.

The objective of the Safer Internet Day co-project is to promote information security awareness. The establishment of Finland's national communications security authority promotes, for example, the fulfilment of international information security obligations.

The aim of the National Information Security Strategy is to ensure that the Finnish information society provides everyone in Finland with a safe daily life. The action plan is coordinated by the Information security group within the Ubiquitous Information Society Board.
