Use of radio microphones and aids for the hearing impaired in the frequency band 174–230 MHz must be restricted
The frequency band 174–230 MHz is primarily allocated to broadcasting. Radio microphones and aids for the hearing impaired use this frequency band on a secondary basis. Therefore, it may not be possible to renew an existing radio licence when it expires. A radio licence may also be revoked or the licence conditions amended.
Frequencies, which do not require a licence, have been assigned for aids for the hearing impaired, too.
