Study: Mobile content sells despite the challenge posed by free-of-charge services

Idean Enterprises, Inc carried out a study regarding mobile content services market, mobile marketing and mobile device base in April and May 2009.

According to the study, the overall usage of mobile services has become more diverse in the last few years, and in 2008, over one million Finns accessed internet with their mobile phones. However, the increased use of mobile services has not migrated into growth in the content service or mobile marketing revenue.

FICORA is one of the organisations who commissioned the study.
