Telecom service prices and quality

The FICORA market review 3/2008 introduces information related to the price level and quality of services in the telecom and postal markets. The publication is the first market review that focuses solely on consumer issues and price and quality details in particular. From now on, market reviews regarding the prices and quality of communications services will be published annually.

The market review examines the retail prices of mobile phone services, and fixed and wireless broadband services. The examination of service quality is based on the response times for call centres of companies providing telecom services i.e. broadband services, mobile telephone services and fixed telephone network services. In addition, the review looks at the quality of postal services regarding the delivery speed of first class letters provided as a universal service.
