The number of viewers who terminated their television fee due to the digital switch-over is now 18,431

The number of valid television fees totalled 1,924,163 at the end of March 2008. The amount has dropped by 19,130 pcs. since February, i.e. 1 % of all television fees. The figures specifically feature the digital switch-over of cable households in early March, which alone caused 5,000 termination notifications last month. Since the beginning of 2008, 18,431 households in all have terminated their television fees because of the transition to digital television.

The development of terminated television fees is very similar to that of last year's August-October when aerial households switched over to the digital television. However, as many as 18% i.e. 5,709 of those 32,000 who terminated their television fee last fall due to the digital switch-over, have submitted a new television notification. Also new television fees are being submitted abundantly, 48,441 pcs. since the beginning of 2008.
