Vision


FICORA’s vision is: Providing versatile, effective and secure communications connections for everyone in Finland.

A key force in its sector, FICORA creates a level playing field for communications connections and services of good quality in Finland.

Mission


FICORA's role is to ensure versatile, effective and secure communications connections and services, and to promote the development of information society. The goals are:

  • Effective electronic communications connections
  • Sufficient and interference-free infrastructure resources for electronic communications
  • Effectively functioning communications markets
  • Good quality communications services
  • Versatile electronic media

Values


Good service culture


We adhere to the principles of good administration in our work. We work in a reliable and objective manner. We all work in customer service. Each of our employees is responsible for providing our customers with the service they need. We treat our customers fairly. We have a good capacity to cooperate and we want to cooperate. We want to attend to our tasks flexibly, efficiently and cost-effectively. The amount and quality of service is proportioned with customer needs. We aim at a service of good quality.

We master our sector's substance matters. We are ready and willing to share our knowledge with our co-workers and customers.

Development


Our objective is to develop in our work and learn to know our own specialities even better. At the same time, we aim at broadening our viewpoints beyond our own speciality. We contribute to the development of our sector both domestically and internationally. We are ready for changes. We continuously aim at developing our responsibilities so that we are able to offer our customers even better services.

The competence of FICORA's staff consists of a good service culture, expertise and a willingness to develop.

FICORA's operations are future-oriented. This requires the ability to vision future so that we are capable of anticipating the development in our sector and paying attention to that in our operations, and in planning and developing our operations.
