Postal services
FICORA sees to the compiling of statistics of the postal sector in Finland. Earlier, the Finland Post Group compiled the statistics, but since the postal sector met competition, the compiling of statistics was transferred to an authority.
The statistics cover the postal services i.e. letters, direct mail and newspaper distribution referred to in the EU's Postal Directive.
