Market 18: Market for broadcasting transmission services

According to the decision 049:00/2001 of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the markets in Finland with relevance to ex ante regulation in accordance with section 16 of the Communications Market Act are as follows:

- Digital television transmission services in terrestial digital television network in multiplexes A, B and C as referred to in network license
- National analogue television transmission services in the terrestial analogue television network
- National digital radio transmission services in the terrestial digital network
- National analogue radio transmission services in the terrestial analogue radio network

Terrestial analogue broadcasting transmission services consist of transfer and transmitter network service of programmes. Terrestial digital broadcasting services not only comprise transfer and transmitter network services but also multiplexing.
