Corporate subscribers
All companies or other organizations that process users’ confidential messages, identification data or location data in their communications networks, e.g. internal telephone or information network, are regarded as corporate subscribers.
Also, residents of housing companies sharing a subscriber connection can be corporate subscribers. A family does not qualify for a corporate subscriber, even though the home had an internal information network or a telephone device that stores information on telephony.
Some services of a corporate subscriber may be outsourced in a way that a company providing information technology services maintains systems meant for the communications of a corporate subscriber. Even then, the corporate subscriber is responsible for the compliance with the law concerning the processing of identification data and information security of the data.
