Register of identification service providers

FICORA maintains a public register of service providers located in Finland and providing strong electronic identification, and of the services provided by them.

The register lists all identification service providers whose notification to FICORA meets the requirements for strong electronic identification laid down in the Identification Act. A list of pending service providers who have submitted a notification is available on page Pending notifications.

The register includes

• service providers' contact details;
• contact details of the revocation service and;
  
• a link to the service provider's identification principles.
  

A loss or unlawful use of an authentication device can be reported to the revocation service. Each service provider’s identification principles specify in further detail how the service provider in question meets its obligations referred to in the Identification Act.
