Cable television notification

A notification of TV and radio broadcasting that is not subject to licence shall be submitted to FICORA before starting operations. The notification shall contain the following information:
1) name, business name and contact information of the broadcaster or its representative and the broadcaster's domicile;
2) area where the operations are carried out;
3) general outline of the programmes provided or planned to be broadcast; and
4) depository for saving the recordings referred to in the Act on the Exercise of Freedom of Expression in Mass Media.

Those who have made a notification are mainly cable television operators. FICORA keeps a list of TV operators who have made a notification.
