Formulas and coefficients for calculating the frequency fee
General calculation of the frequency fee
Fee = C1 * Cinh * C6b * B0 * S * P,
C1 = frequency band coefficient [PDF, 23 KB],
Cinh = population coefficient [PDF, 12 KB],
C6b = system coefficient [PDF, 25 KB],
B0 = relative band width [PDF, 35 KB],
S = basic fee coefficient [PDF, 28 KB] and
P = basic fee [PDF, 11 KB].
The table [PDF, 53 KB] illustrates how the coefficients are used for the different radio equipment groups. All the coefficients are not used for every radio equipment group.
Furthermore, during a transition period of the years 2011 to 2015, a transition coefficient Ctrans [PDF, 20 KB] (pdf) will also be used when calculating the frequency fee of radio transmitters for the national television network subject to concession and base stations for the mobile network.
When calculating the frequency fee of a ship or aircraft radio station and an aeronautical mobile radio transmitter the coefficient of mode of operation Cmode [PDF, 19 KB](pdf) will be used, instead of the above general formula.
